First day of confirmation starts September 11th at 3:00 in the fellowship hall.

At First Lutheran we believe in teaching young people about the Lutheran faith and bringing each child closer to God by learning more about the Bible and the Catechism. We hold a three year confirmation program that starts when the child enters 6th grade. After the three years of weekly teachings during the school year, the youth is confirmed in their faith and becomes a member during a service. At this same time they will encounter their first Holy Communion.
